I'm thinking, researching, calculating.Since LensChain went mainnet,
@stani hasn't shared a single update or statement about airdrops. It's been nearly 3 years since I joined Lens.
Why do people use social media in the first place?
Why do some launch projects at all?
Don’t all of them need a sustainable income mechanism?
If not, then maybe we should forget DeFi and stop doing anything.
On platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Farcaster, and Twitter, people get paid weekly or monthly for the content they share.
So why would anyone choose to spend time on LensChain? What’s the real reason to be here?
Please don’t respond with buzzwords like 'digital identity' or 'decentralized social'.Anyone who truly believes in those ideals should also be capable of empathy.Even Farcaster pays its community weekly.
If your answer is: "Lens never hinted at an airdrop, and if you're not happy, move on" , that’s your choice. But from where I stand, I can clearly see the community shrinking, interest fading. This is simply honest, constructive criticism.
The truth is: Some project leaders are blinded by sycophants.
I’m not one of them.
I say what I see, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Call me a truth-teller or a realist , but I speak up because I care.
All I want is to be understood , with just a little empathy.
If you agree, your support would mean a lot.
I'm struggling with motivation, and I just need a little empathy.
If
@stani doesn’t respond, this will be my final post here.Wishing everyone the best of luck moving forward.
